Claire Hindle

Claire studied for her BA Hons degree in music at Dartington College of Arts in the 1980s.

She then went to study flute performance with Sebastian Bell at the Royal College of Music. Whilst there Claire became a freelance musician and teacher, playing in many different orchestral ensembles at home and abroad.

Claire has been teaching for over 30 yeas and she is also an accomplished accompanist as well. Claire is passionate about getting the best from every pupil she teaches, inspiring them to fulfil their own potential. Claire teaches beginners right up to Diploma level and beyond.

Claire worked for the Devon County Council Music Service from 1990 – 2004 as a peripatetic woodwind teacher in schools all over Devon, and she directed the Devon County Flute Choir enjoying many successful concert tours abroad in Europe

Since 2004 Claire has successfully built up a private teaching and consultancy service in and around Torbay, to which she is currently committed to.
